Helena Home Needs Quick Water Damage Cleanup
When this Helena home has severe water damage, a large part of the restoration process is preparing for the needed repairs to return the home to how it was before the damage. Roof damage allowed water to enter via the ceiling and caused portions of it to fall on the appliances. SERVPRO technicians found large amounts of moisture wicked into the sheetrock and it required removal using a technique known as “flood cuts” as seen in the After Photo. Major seepage occurred under the flooring and delaminated the tile in the bathroom which also needed removal for extraction and drying.
