Great Falls Flooded Basement and Cleanup
The water that intruded into this Great Falls cellar was removed rapidly by SERVPRO technicians using a trash pump and smaller units until most of the water was evacuated from the concrete floor. The Before Photo shows the muddy deposit still on the pad and the soaked drywall area. The After Photo depicts the process before the rebuilding can happen. The flood cuts have removed the wet and contaminated lower two feet of the wallboard exposing the voids and metal studs for drying. Using axial fans, for maximum air circulation, and a dehumidifier, the enclosed basement area would be dry within several days. It takes time to dry the concrete, slow to absorb the stormwater, and slow to release it. Our crew can then sanitize, disinfect, and deodorize the affected area.
