Big Controlled Demo Against Water Damage in Helena Kitchen
This Helena kitchen had extensive water coming in from above. The ceilings were sagging dangerously and a large amount of the water seeped under the tile flooring. In order to extract the water and dry the structure, SERVPRO technicians performed controlled demolition and took down the deteriorated sheetrock from the walls and ceiling. The flooring had too much absorption for drying in place and needed removal. Once the technicians removed all the loss items, the only original piece left in the kitchen that was untouched by water loss was the stove. The technicians dried the room and then prepped it for the needed repairs and reconstruction for reuse by the homeowner.
